I am an electrical and biomedical engineer with equal passions for research and teaching. Through my PhD at the University of Queensland and subsequent career I aim to explore ways to improve the availability, affordability and accessibility of medical imaging technologies, and develop programs to educate the biomedical engineers of the future, combining technical and clinical perspectives in the way I firmly believe is required for innovation to flourish.
I feel most at home at the intersection of mathematics, physics, biology, and engineering, and endeavour to integrate multiple perspectives to find novel solutions to challenging problems.
In my free time you’ll most likely find me working through the backlog of films on my watchlist or enjoying a scenic walk around Brisbane.
