Biography
Growing up in Mparntwe (Alice Springs), I have always felt a strong sense of belonging there, but also a strong desire to explore the rest of the world beyond Central Australia. My interest in China is motivated by my intention to retrace my family’s Aboriginal and Chinese lineage. I am currently studying a Diploma of Language (Chinese) alongside a Bachelor of Arts (Criminology), with an aim to study law in the future. I am especially interested in the way the law conditions both Chinese and Australian societies. I hope I can combine my personal interests in China and my language learning with a career in law, particularly global human rights law.
